Madonna breaks her silence after her hospital admission: “My first thought was for my children”

The queen of pop remains focused on her recovery after having collapsed from a bacterial infection. Madonna was found unconscious on the bathroom floor and immediately admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the New York hospital, where she remained for a week before being released: “Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of encouragement. I have felt your love I am on the road to recovery and I feel grateful and blessed”, he said this Monday.

Madonna (64) has broken her silence to reassure her fans and to thank all the love and support she has received in the last week. Surrounded by her family and friends, she has found the best medicine in her children, who do not leave her side: “My first thought, when I woke up in the hospital, was my children. The second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone that I had bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to disappoint those who have worked tirelessly with me over the past few months on this tour,” he said.

And it is that this bump in Madonna’s health has forced her to cancel her ‘Celebration Tour’, which was scheduled to start on July 15 in Vancouver: “My goal now is my health and get strong. I’ll be back with you as soon as I can.” And she ends: “The current plan is to reschedule all the concerts in North America and start the tour next October in Europe. I couldn’t be more grateful for your support.”
