Next Wednesday marks 20 years since the wedding of Felipe VI and Mrs. Letizia. To celebrate, the Royal House has distributed a total of eleven images, where the monarch and the consort pose with their two daughters, the Princess Eleanor and the Infanta Sofia in the Campo del Moro Gardens of the Royal Palace.
The snapshots, as this digital has learned for the first time, were taken last April sixth. The date for this photo session was not the result of chance, since it coincided with the fact that Infanta Sofía had a few days off in Wales. It must be remembered that Leonor’s sister has been studying international baccalaureate at Atlantic College in Wales since last August.
In the photographs, the royal family wanted to show a close and natural attitude. Therefore, they have chosen looks relaxed and sporty. Another of the keys that they wanted to capture in the snapshots is the great family unity. In several images, the kings appear with their daughters and even give them the spotlight.
One of the most commented snapshots has been that of Doña Letizia from behind while Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía give her a hug. With this gesture, the consort gives the leading role to her daughters.
This may not be the only report from the royal family in the coming months, since next June 19 marks 10 years since King Felipe VI was proclaimed monarch.
