The Royal Spanish Football Federation has canceled the contest for the provision of VAR and has announced that it will provide LaLiga EA Sports and LaLiga Hypermotion, First and Second Division respectively, with a video arbitration system “under the same conditions that have been provided in the last few seasons.”
“The RFEF has communicated today the definitive cancellation of the ‘Contest for the provision of arbitration assistance service via video and for the provision of the technical equipment necessary for the service,'” it reported in a statement. .
In addition, the federative body explained the procedure that will be followed “to duly comply with the order of the Titular Judge of the Commercial Court No. 2 of Madrid”, through which “it issued a series of precautionary measures in relation to this issue”. .
“The RFEF will provide, during the next season, the VAR system to professional competitions in the First and Second Division under the same conditions that have been provided in recent seasons,” he continued.
