MADRID, 3 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Wednesday, Granada CF reached an agreement with River Plate to incorporate Argentine goalkeeper Augusto Batalla on loan, with a purchase option for the Granada club “depending on different sporting objectives.”

Born on April 30, 1996 in Hurlingham (Buenos Aires), Batalla trained in the youth ranks of River Plate, with whose first team he officially debuted in April 2016. “Since 2018 he has had different assignments that have led him to play in Atlético Tucumán and CA Tigre from the Argentine league,” Granada indicated on its website.

“In 2019 he began a journey through Chilean football, joining Unión La Calera on loan and, later, O'Higgins (2020). In July 2021 he returned to his country to join San Lorenzo de Almagro, his last team, with who was included in the league's ideal eleven in 2023. In addition, to his career he adds international experience with Argentina's youth teams,” the press release added.

“The club welcomes Augusto Batalla as a new Nasrid player, as well as wishes him the best of luck on his arrival to the red and white entity,” concluded the Granada note.
