Toyota Spain will once again support Isidre Esteve in his competition plans for the 2024 season

Toyota Spain presented this Friday its competition plans for 2024, a year in which it will once again support Isidre Esteve in a new presence in the Dakar Rally, will continue with the Iberian Cup, will expand its presence in rallies and its return to the circuits with the cup single-brand GR Cup Spain.

The event to present these structures took place at the Toyota Spain headquarters and was attended by the president and CEO of Toyota Spain, Miguel Carsi; the president of the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, Manuel Aviñó; CEO of MSI, Teo Martín and the pilots.

Toyota Spain will continue to support the sporting challenge of Isidre Esteve at the controls of his Toyota Hilux T1+ with the Repsol Toyota Rally Team in the Dakar Rally, which in 2025 will be the Catalan’s nineteenth participation, the ninth in a car since his spinal cord injury. In addition, as news, the Spaniard will compete for the first time in the Rally of Portugal and also the Rally of Morocco with a new V6 biturbo engine.

Regarding rallies, Toyota Spain will be present this 2024 season in the S-CER with the GR Yaris Rally2 thanks to the structure of Teo Martín Motorsport with the Asturian Alejandro Cachón and, as co-driver, Borja Rozada, thanks to the structure of Teo Martin Motorsport.

On the other hand, Toyota Spain, together with MSi, has also opted for the new GR Cup Spain, which will compete with the Toyota GR86, of which 20 units have been manufactured and will soon be available to the drivers.

In addition, the brand will also be in the Toyota Gazoo Racing Iberian, which in 2024 will celebrate its third stage and with four unprecedented tests. Its main novelty is the final prize for the winner which, to the more than 300,000 in cash, adds the possibility of competing in a rally in 2025 at the wheel of a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2.
