The RFEF denies that it is going to eliminate its Mixed Commissions

The federal entity accuses the AFE of “continuing to favor the underground economy”

MADRID, 16 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has denied this Sunday that it is going to eliminate its Mixed Commissions, expressing “surprise” and regretting “the number of calls” that have come to it, “due to the audios” that “it is circulating” the “estate of delegates” of the Association of Spanish Soccer Players (AFE).

Óscar Fle, president of the Mixed Commissions of the RFEF, has been surprised by this situation and “regrets the number of calls that have reached the federative entity due to the audios that its class of delegates is circulating from AFE”, as indicated the RFEF.

“In them they communicate to players affiliated with the union that the RFEF intends to eliminate the Mixed Commissions,” said the note from the federation. “How can these atrocities be said, how can players be deceived in this way?” Fle himself exclaimed in said press release.

“Not only has the RFEF not considered making the Mixed Commissions disappear, but quite the opposite, a few weeks ago the RFEF Delegate Commission approved operating rules for the Mixed Commissions that give it greater strength and a whole series of regulations have been introduced. new elements that reinforce the guarantee of payment for the players. Lying is not the way and even more so when something works so efficiently and with the participation of AFE itself”, Fle has summarized.

“We are facing one of the best years in history in compliance with obligations,” stressed the president of the RFEF Mixed Commissions. “Thanks to the measures adopted by the RFEF, the financial aid for the clubs of the different categories and the enormous collaboration of these, the season has been a success in terms of reducing the debts of the clubs with the footballers”, has explained about it.

The RFEF contacted yesterday and the day before yesterday with the representatives of AFE to try to reconstruct a scenario based on the truth and with the proposal to issue a joint note denying this false information. The response of the AFE union has been to delay and not want to publicly and jointly deny the falsehoods that some of its delegates spread to the players. “In four or five days we will see each other and continue talking about it, they proposed from AFE,” says Fle.

The RFEF has also analyzed the document sent by the AFE union to its affiliates and where, in its opinion, “completely erroneously, it states that those footballers who do not incorporate their contracts into the Fenix platform within 15 days of their signing will not be able to submit claims or denunciations before the Mixed Commissions”.

That is “absolutely false”, as Fle has detailed: “What the AFE union has written to its members is false and this is not what the regulations approved by the Delegate Commission say, which the AFE knows perfectly”. “I am surprised by this interest of some AFE representatives in seeking permanent conflict with the RFEF and also lying,” he continued.

The RFEF has communicated “to all the players” that “they may always and at all times present their claims for non-payment of wages or other remuneration and exclusively for the purposes of proof, the contracts presented by the / the footballers if they have been presented within the established deadlines and not those deposited by the clubs”.

That is to say, he has given “an extra guarantee in case his club had not communicated any obligation to the footballer. “The RFEF initiative intends the complete opposite of what AFE explains in its statement. He wants or precisely to expand the payment guarantee of the players as well as to avoid fraud through hidden contracts”, the RFEF has argued in its text.

“AFE wants the footballers to be able to have contracts not communicated to the RFEF, behind the back of the Mixed Commission, and that they only emerge if the club defaults, while the system implemented by the Federation allows their immediate emergence, which is vital to know the economic reality of all the clubs and the different categories”, the press release has affected.

“If AFE intends to continue favoring this submerged economy, it should know that the RFEF, through the implementation of economic control, is not going to allow it out of responsibility, rigor, principles and good governance. Of course, it will maintain the guarantees for 100% of the reported quantities”, the federative entity has concluded.
