The Giro d’Italia presents the route of its 107th edition

It will be held from May 4 to 26, 2024, starting in Venaria Reale and finishing in Rome

The company RCS Sports & Events, belonging to the RCS MediaGroup conglomerate and organizer of the Giro d’Italia, presented this Friday the route of the ‘Corsa Rosa’ for its 107th edition, which in 2024 will be held from May 4, starting in Venaria Reale, until May 26, with final arrival in Rome.

The event, presented by Cristina Fantoni and Nino Morici, was held at the Teatro Sociale in Trento during Il Festival dello Sport. Numerous well-known faces from Italian sport and entertainment attended, as well as institutions and companies that promote the Giro.

The Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma), winner of the last Giro, also participated on stage, along with the Italian Filippo Ganna (INEOS Grenadiers), the Australian Jai Hindley (BORA-hansgrohe) and the Slovakian Peter Sagan (TotalEnergies), three-time champion of the world, as well as Vincenzo Nibali, legend of the ‘Corsa Rosa’.

To reveal the trophy and talk about the women’s Giro, there were two champions such as Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) and Letizia Paternoster (Team Jayco AlUla). Also present were Francesco Lollobrigida, Minister of Agriculture, and Cordiano Dagnoni, president of the Italian Cycling Federation (FCI).

During the event, the president of RCS MediaGroup, Urbano Cairo, was also honored; the general director of RCS Sports & Events, Paolo Bellino; the director of the Giro d’Italia, Mauro Vegni, and the director of the newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’, Stefano Barigelli.
