The FEB launches its Twitch channel “to see basketball from another perspective”

The Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB) launched its official ‘Twitch’ channel on Tuesday with which it intends to reach new fans through new content that helps them watch the sport
of the basket “from another vision”.

“The Federations are obliged to understand the current world, to interact with the fans, and ‘Twitch’ gives us the window to see basketball from another perspective,” recalled Jorge Garbajosa, president of the FEB and the channel’s first guest.

The leader also assured that this new channel, which can be seen through twitch.tv/baloncestoesp, can also serve “to bring the content that young people want, such as 3×3, women’s basketball or idols.”

According to the FEB, Siro López, Amaya Valdemoro, Fernando Romay, ‘Outconsumer’, ‘Tresco’ and ‘Atiga’, Iñako Díaz-Guerra, ‘Aircriss’, Ana Sesto, Manu de la Torre or Pablo Romero will be some of the creators content of this official channel.

In addition, Monday will be the FEB Board day, where the FEB competitions will be summarized, while on Tuesday it will be the turn of ‘#LaFamilia al Día’, with the international news. Siro López will present ‘CalabazasClub’ on Wednesdays and will be in charge of narrating LF Endesa’s live shows on weekends along with ‘Outconsumer’, while former player Fernando Romay will have a weekly program called ‘El Gancho’ with stars from the world of basketball and another monthly called ‘People with a hook’ in which he will bring together well-known people outside the world of basketball

The time for the interviews will be for ‘Salto entre dos’ with Iñako Díaz-Guerra, a monthly program that will serve to publicize the greats of Spanish basketball. ‘Conversations with Amaya’ will be the monthly program in which the Spanish basketball legend will give his vision of the sport, ‘TIMEOUT Twitch Edition’ will be the ‘YouTube’ version of the program with the freshest content provided by ‘Tresco’ and ‘Atiga ‘; while ‘Aircriss’ will bring all the news from e-sports in ‘At the ProAm’.
