MADRID, 16 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) and the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) have sent a group of volunteers to Ukraine this Wednesday to provide humanitarian aid to war refugees, as well as a bus that will bring different families to the Region of Murcia for your welcome.
The COE and the UCAM announced that a truck with non-perishable food, clothing, diapers and basic necessities is expected to leave in the next few hours to the University of Katovice (Poland), the entity in charge of channeling the delivery.
“With this trip, it is not only intended to supply Ukrainians with essential goods, but also to provide humanitarian aid and facilitate the arrival of refugees,” the COE said in a statement.
