Taylor: “We have a lot of experience and we know what awaits us in Belgrade”

MADRID, 13 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid player Jeffery Taylor highlighted the team’s experience before facing the ‘Final Four’ in Belgrade starting on May 19 and made it clear that they know what “waits” for them in the Serbian capital in their duel against Barca.

“The small details are what decide these big games,” said the merengue forward in statements to the club’s television. “The season has been very good and very long. There have been ups and downs, but in the end we are exactly where we wanted to be. We have everything to fight for,” said Taylor about the eighth ‘Final Four’ for the Whites since 2011.

“We have to have good feelings as a group. We have a lot of experience and we know what awaits us. We know that it will be difficult and that we play against the best teams and we have to be very focused on all the details of the game. As well as what we have to do to win. The team is in a good moment”, he added.

In addition, asked about his personal contribution, the Swede with an American passport commented that he will give “everything he can”. “And I’m going to do what I always do, play at a high level and try to give everything I can on the court. I want to help my teammates in the way that the coach and the team decide,” he snapped.

“We have played in two other finals this year and we know what awaits us, we know their game,” he said about Barça. “We have to put all the energy to win the game. They are a good team, but I believe in ourselves and that we can do it.”

Finally, Taylor sent a message to the Madrid fans. “I just want to say that we are going to give up our lives in Belgrade. I want to thank you for your help, we are going to need you and I hope everything goes well,” he concluded.
