Second day of the trial against Daniel Sancho in Thailand. The accused’s father has arrived at the Koh Samui Court to support his son again and he did so with a smile, a very different attitude from the one he showed when he left. Much more nervous and visibly angry, the actor confronted the journalists who were waiting for information about the day: “We’ve already started, what did we agree on this morning? That you would let me pass. My God, you’re literally pushing me. You’re really going to end up knocking me to the ground.”
Rodolfo Sanchowho stars in the documentary Sancho Case on HBO, for which he could have charged up to half a million euros, has been blunt: “I’m going to tell you one thing: I treat you with education and respect and I expect the same from you, so please don’t let me know.” Block the way, let me pass, don’t push me, don’t trip me, don’t step on me, don’t chase me around the island…” Finally, he pointed out: “I’m going to tell you one thing, in this country it is prohibited to record people in public and take photographs of them. The interpreter’s lawyer, Carmen Balfagón, wanted to apologize to her client for this attitude and explain what had led to this confrontation: “We have to understand that Rodolfo is in the worst moment of his life and that he had several incidents with press people because they sneaked into the hotel.”
The case of Daniel Sancho generates maximum expectation and his father’s interview on the private platform has only increased interest in what happened. The trial, which began this Tuesday, will last until May 3 and will have almost 50 witnesses from both sides.
