MADRID, 2 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Nuria Parrizas qualified this Tuesday for the second round of the tournament in Monterrey (Mexico), scoring for the WTA and which is played on a hard court, after easily beating the Japanese Misaki Doi in two sets 6-2, 6-1.

The woman from Granada, who starts as the sixth seed of the event, had hardly any problems in a premiere that decided in her favor after chaining eight consecutive games that made her go from 2-1 against the first quarter to win it and put the second on track with a 3-0.

Despite then losing her serve only, the Andalusian player took the next three games to finish the contest and join Sara Sorribes in the round of 16 where she will face the British Heather Watson.
