The Munich fashion and sports footwear and accessories firm will provide shoes for the First and Second Division male and female soccer referees for the next two seasons, after signing an agreement with the Technical Committee of Referees (CTA) of the Royal Spanish Federation of Football (RFEF).
“It is a great opportunity, we are very happy to be able to collaborate with the Committee and to be able to be present in every match of the next two seasons”, commented Xavi Berneda, CEO and co-owner of Munich.
The brand will not only be present on the field of play, but the referees will also wear their sneakers off it. This action is added to the list of sporting events that Munich has joined, such as the recent Women’s Hockey World Cup in Terrassa, where she dressed the ‘staff’ and volunteers.
In addition, in April 2022, it reached an agreement with the Royal Spanish Hockey Federation by which it became the official sponsor dressing the two senior teams, as well as their coaching staff.
