Messi goes to Miami to play the MLS

The Argentine decides for the United States instead of returning to Barça or going to Saudi Arabia

MADRID, 7 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Argentine soccer player Leo Messi will continue his career as a player for Inter Miami, a team that plays in the MLS, cut ties from Paris Saint-Germain since last weekend and thus ruling out a possible return to FC Barcelona.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner quickly ended the uncertainty about his future, as he revealed this Wednesday in an interview at his home in Paris with various media. From Barça, the call to ’10’ asking for his return was general, from its president Joan Laporta, to the coach, Xavi Hernández. Likewise, the Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia was in the rumors about the signing of him.

Finally, after two seasons in Paris, Messi heads to the United States, to join the Inter Miami of former soccer player David Beckham, owner and president of operations. The Florida team is last in the Eastern Conference after 16 days.
