Stephan Scepovic is one of the most serious options that Málaga manages to cover the loss, due to a long-term injury, of Pablo Chavarría. An operation that could be authorized by LaLiga if it falls within the limits that the club has, 18 professional chips and meets the salary limit, 2,964 million euros.

The 31-year-old striker has been without a team since his relationship with Machida Zelvia of the Japanese second division ended on February 1.. The player has traveled to Malaga in the last hours to close a signing while waiting for everything to be solved.

Scepovic has experience in Spanish soccer for having played with Sporting in two different stages. 2013-14 and the first part of 2017-18), and also a season and a half (half of 2015-16 and 2016-17) at Getafe. His best campaign was in his first year at Gijón, where he scored 23 goals and nine assists.

He also went through Celtic, Hungarian Fehervar, with whom he scored seven goals, and Polish Jagiellonia. There he had the misfortune of suffering a serious knee injury (torn cruciate ligament) that forced him to undergo surgery and be off the pitch for several months. After recovering he went to Machida Zelvia in Japan.

If all the details of the economic reality of the club are accepted, Scepovic could close his incorporation.
