Iván Ortolá and David Muñoz will be in the front row in Moto3

The Turkish rider Deniz Öncü (KTM) has won pole position this Saturday for the Moto3 race of the Spanish Grand Prix, the fourth round of the Motorcycle World Championship, ahead of the Spanish Iván Ortolá (KTM) and David Muñoz (KTM), who he suffered a crash on his last thrown lap.

With a time of 1:45.668 set with less than four minutes to go in the session, the Ottoman driver, also the best of the free practice sessions, adds the fifth pole of his life and will start from a privileged place in search of his first victory of his career in the World Championship.

Next to him will be the Valencian, who got into Q2 after being fourth in Q1, and the Sevillian, visibly in pain after his fall.

In addition, Jaume Masià (Honda) will start fifth, while Dani Holgado (KTM) will do so from seventh position, with Xavi Artigas (CFMoto) and José Antonio Rueda (KTM) completing the ‘Top 10’, ninth and tenth respectively.

Among the Spaniards who did not pass Q1, David Salvador (KTM) will start from nineteenth place, Ana Carrasco (KTM) will start twenty-sixth and David Almansa (Husqvarna), twenty-ninth and last.
