Escape opens the largest bicycle store in Madrid

Escapa, a Spanish cycling distribution operator owned by Quadis, has opened the largest bicycle shop in the Madrid community in the north of Madrid, in an event attended by former cyclists Pedro Delgado, Samuel Sánchez, Óscar Freire and, among others , the biker Carlos Coloma.

In addition, it is the largest bicycle store in the entire group, with 3,000 square meters in which 180 models are exhibited, it includes a workshop with a team that has more than 65 years of experience and a free parking area for 25 spaces. .

The new store is located near the Cuatro Torres business area, a strategic enclave due to its easy access and because it is a meeting point for cyclists due to the proximity of the bike lanes and Madrid’s Green Ring.

The new space has an internal circuit to be able to go through the different specific sections depending on the type of bicycle, and is committed to a sustainable design, with materials, among which wood predominates, that respect the environment.

The façade of the store has large openings in the shape of a bicycle wheel, and a main entrance that is also spherical. It also offers complementary services such as personalized deliveries, physiotherapy service, biomechanical studies or advice for routes and trips, among others.

Escapa has established itself in recent years as the leading Spanish bicycle distribution operator through Quadis, both in terms of sales area and units sold. In 2021 Escapa sold more than 15,000 bicycles, and it already has points of sale in Sabadell, Girona and Barcelona, ​​two, which add up to 8,000 square meters.

With a ‘stock’ of more than 1,000 bicycles, the company is currently in an expansion phase and plans to open new stores dedicated to bicycles in the coming months.
