Davidovich climbs 19 positions and enters the ‘Top 30’ with his final in Monte Carlo

MADRID, 18 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish tennis player Alejandro Davidovich has risen 19 positions in the ATP ranking this Monday after reaching the final of the Monte Carlo tournament (Monaco), the third Masters 1,000 of the season, and stands at number 27.

Despite falling in the final of the Principality contest against the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas (6-3, 7-6(3)), the man from Malaga has reached his best historical ranking, going from the number 46 he occupied last week to entering the ‘Top 30’ of the best tennis players in the world.

Thus, he adds 1,505 points in a list that has not changed in the ‘Top 10’ and that continues to be led by the Serbian Novak Djokovic ahead of the Russian Daniil Medvedev and the German Alexander Zverev.

The Balearic Rafa Nadal, who is recovering from a back injury, remains at number four and the Murcian Carlos Alcaraz, champion in Miami, at eleven. Roberto Bautista from Castellón and Pablo Carreño from Asturias continue as number 18 and 19, respectively, in the world.
