MADRID, 11 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The midfielder of the Spanish team Claudia Zornoza confessed on Tuesday that she “never” imagined playing a World Cup, a “dream” that has “come suddenly” and “a pride” that she thinks she will “enjoy to the fullest”, at the same time that she revealed who is currently studying the opposition for the Municipal Police.

“I never imagined being able to be here. She always has short-term dreams and this one for me has come suddenly and I hope I can win it and celebrate it with all my teammates. I haven’t been able to experience any tournament in lower categories, only training sessions. So, For me, it is a source of pride, also for my family, and I plan to enjoy it to the fullest,” Zornoza said in statements shared by the team on social networks.

At 32, the Real Madrid soccer player faces her first major tournament with the national team, after overcoming a “clean fracture” of her fibula. “When it happened to me, they told me that they were not going to operate on me, and I immediately started with it. I have to thank the club I am in, because we did sessions in the morning, in the afternoon, sometimes even three,” she recalled.

“Everything to be able to reach the final of the Copa de la Reina, and what’s more, we were even able to be there much sooner. It was a very hard recovery, because I suffered a lot of pain, but even so, between the pool and training, I was able to be there, and I’ll stay with that and with the work we did,” he added.

Finally, he discovered that he has been in opposition, for two years, to the Municipal Police, to dedicate himself to the environmental or canine part within the body. “I hope to be able to introduce myself soon, when I’m not with the ball, I clear myself up like this. I have little time, because an opposition requires a lot, I go a little slower than normal people, and for this reason I try every hour or two hours to put on a bit and go over it because it’s a long road”, he concluded.
