Real Betis has raised Manuel Pellegrini’s salary by 20% due to the interest of several English clubs, including Everton, and others from the Arab world for the Chilean coach, whose great season has not gone unnoticed beyond our borders.

According to the newspaper ‘El Deportivo de Chile’, three weeks ago, two clubs sounded out the Verdiblanco coach, the aforementioned Everton and one from the Middle East. Both were willing to pay at least 4 million euros of the 5.5 ‘kilos’ of Pellegrini’s exit clause.

Faced with this, the Andalusian entity decided to increase the salary of the ‘Engineer’ and his coaching staff by 20%, with a contract until 2025 after its renewal last December.
