– Patience is important in football, they are players who come out prepared from the lower categories and are highly psyched with a lot of sports culture. The second Division is not easy but the kids have given confidence in the coach and that has been a good surprise for the Sporting fans and once again the Sporting youth academy is once again the club's heritage.

– In all the teams that I have been except Racing de Santander they have wanted to renew me or I have ended up renewing. That is a symptom of the work done, I am a coach who does not live from the image, I live from the work that is done every day and now there are many interests when it comes to joining a club, many times the coaches are not valued for his work, I'm not media and that may have hurt me.
– Has there been a time when you could have coached Sporting?
