ViIllarreal defender Raúl Albiol said after beating Juventus 0-3 in Turin that his team knew how to wait for its moment to win the game after suffering in the first half.
“It’s time for everyone to enjoy it, the president, the fans, the players… We knew we were going to suffer and even if they marked us we were going to know how to respond. Here whoever makes the smallest mistake pays for it, with the 0-1 they have gone on the attack and desperate and we have taken advantage of it,” he added to the media.

“It has cost us a lot of work to get here. The fans had some difficult years and this is a reward for them. Last year we won the Europa League and now we are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League. It is wonderful and we will have to enjoy today and think about tomorrow in the League”, said the Valencian defender.
He highlighted the presence of three Spanish teams in the quarterfinals when “few expected it” and now “hopefully we won’t cross you,” he concluded.
