Zaniolo returns to a call from Rome 6 months later

Nicoló Zaniolo is back. The squad of Rome returns to a call six months after falling seriously injured. The young crack of the Italian team is fully recovered and has entered the squad for the match against Naples this Sunday.

Zaniolo was injured against Juventus on January 12. The Italian ripped the cruciate ligaments of his right knee and has been out for several months. Although he was initially going to miss the rest of the season, the stoppage due to the coronavirus has allowed him to recover calmly and be able to return to help his team in this final stretch of the course.

Roma undoubtedly needs a boost after chaining two consecutive defeats that have taken it away from the Atalanta Champions League, right now with a 12 point advantage over the 'giallorossi'.

The return of Zaniolo, one of its leaders despite his youth, can be an important help for the team led by Paulo Fonseca.

The call for Roma is completed by goalkeepers Pau López, Fuzato and Mirante; the defenders Zappacosta, Smalling, Kolarov, Santon, Fazio, Mancini, Spinazzola and Ibáñez; the media Cristante, Pellegrini, Villar, Veretout, Zaniolo, Pastore, Diawara and Mkhitaryan; and strikers Dzeko, Under, Kalinic, Carles Pérez and Kluivert.
