Total, 16 clubs that will be divided into four groups through a draw to take place in Nyon. Before explaining the operation of this draw, it is necessary to know how the participants of this new women's Champions have been defined, which had four direct places in this group stage for the current European champion (Barcelona) and the three champions of the three associations with the best UEFA ranking (PSG, Bayern and Chelsea).

Group stage of the women's Champions: how the draw works
For the purpose of the draw, the 16 clubs participating in the group stage will be divided into four pots. In the first of these, the seeds will be found, that is, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern and Chelsea. These four seeds will be divided into the four groups that will make up this European phase, one per group.
The rest of the drums will be formed according to the coefficient of each club, being their extraction at random until the four groups are formed. It should be noted that clubs from the same federation cannot be included in the same group, so Barcelona and Real Madrid will not be able to cross in this round of the Champions League.
What's more, in the case of federations with two representatives, these clubs will be paired to distribute their matches between Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday of each match week. In the case of federations with three representatives, only two clubs will be paired. The pairings are: Barcelona and Real Madrid; Paris Saint-Germain and Lyon; Bayern and Wolfsburg; Chelsea and Arsenal.
For their part, clubs from countries with severe winter conditions (Sweden, Iceland) they will be assigned a position in their group that allows them to play away from home on matchday six of the group stage.
