The process against Dani Alves it’s still going. The sentence that the Prosecutor’s Office is requesting for the Brazilian soccer player has recently come to light, and, in addition, the unpublished testimony of the alleged victim has been known, who has described the event as a situation of “anguish and terror”.

The husband of Joana Sanz He has been in the Brians 2 prison in Barcelona, since he was accused of allegedly committing a sexual assault on a 23-year-old girl on December 30, 2022. The alleged events would have occurred on New Year’s Eve, when Dani Alves – on vacation leave from his then club – went to the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona, where he met the young woman, who after the passage of days filed a complaint against him. Since then, the former FC Barcelona footballer was arrested and has already spent 10 months in prison. The Prosecutor’s Office, for its part, requests 9 years in prison for him.

While waiting for the trial to take place, documents have come to light containing some unpublished testimonies from the 23-year-old girl, which have also been given to the Barcelona Court. They detail the events that occurred from the night of the incident in the Moet reservation to the present, and describe Alves’s attitude as “violent and contemptuous.”

Apparently, the footballer approached her “hugging her” and putting his hand on her private parts repeatedly. However, she “realizing her intentions” quickly withdrew her hand. The young woman’s testimony states that, when they retired to a more private area, Alves “He began to grope her with a lascivious intention and a clear intention of satisfying his sexual desires”. The girl even tried to leave, but he approached even closer with “dismissive attitude”.

Likewise, the documents record how Alves hit the young woman numerous times in the face, while demanding that she tell him “I am your little whore.” For her part, the Prosecutor’s Office maintains that the girl urged him to leave that place, but he refused: “She felt shocked and lacked the ability to react, even feeling like she was short of breath given the situation of anguish and terror at what she was experiencing”says the document provided by the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office. After trying to perform oral sex on the young woman and penetrate her vaginally, Alves “immediately” left the bathroom, leaving the victim “stunned and disoriented.”

After the events, the young woman desperately went to be treated by the nightclub staff, who at that moment activated the protocol against sexual assaults. While the footballer left the place “quickly”. Thus, the Prosecutor’s Office maintains that the victim suffers “a post-traumatic stress disorder of globally high intensity, with functional repercussions and deterioration in several areas of functioning”. In fact, he is still undergoing psychiatric treatment. Now, we have to wait for the trial to take place, where Alves will be tried with the ‘Montero law’, which has a more favorable sentence for him.
