The American Adam Smith completes the Surne Bilbao Basket squad

BARCELONA, 14 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The American Adam Smith, 29 years old and 1.85 meters tall, has become this Wednesday a new Surne Bilbao Basket player until the end of the season from Israeli Hapoel Holon, so he completes the Basque team’s squad, as explained in a release.

The player was proclaimed champion of the Israeli League with Hapoel Holon last season, averaging 13.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, with which he also reached the ‘Final Four’ of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) along with also MIB Michale Kyser.

Smith has extensive European experience. In fact, this season he will play for the fourth time in a BCL that he already knew from his time at Chalon in 2017/18, where he averaged 13.5 points, 4 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game, and later at PAOK and Hapoel Holon.

“He has always been characterized by his ability to score points. He is a very good shooter from the three-point line and he is also a fast player in one-on-one and in fast-break situations. He is a player capable of generating his own shots when the team gets stuck”, said the Sports Director of Surne Bilbao Basket, Rafa Pueyo.
