Terzic's plans on Haaland and Moukoko

Edin Terzic, Borussia Dortmund's new coach, said Tuesday that he does not rule out a Haaland-Moukoko duo at the attack point. Erling Haaland, 20, is injured and will not play again until January. Youssoufa Moukoko, the 16-year-old German striker of Cameroonian origin, became the youngest to score in the Bundesliga against Union Berlin on Friday (but Dortund lost 2-1). Terzic, who relieved Lucien Favre in office on December 13, explained this Tuesday about Haaland:

“I have seen Erling Haaland for the first time today (Tuesday). So far we have only had a brief contact by phone and through messages. We are very happy that he is back, that he is feeling better. He will be back soon. We hope that he will return in January when we start training again. This is what Erling and us are planning. We are very happy”.

Terzic also made reference to the question of whether he could line up the Norwegian star together and to “Regarding the question of whether Haaland and Moukoko can play together in attack point, we have a team with many qualities. Each player has their own asset. And we will try to use each weapon to the fullest. If we think we need both of them on the field, why not? We will leave this completely open without making any promises for now. We will consider what best suits our situation and the solution we will need. “
