Spain will play against Italy in Pasarón and against Sweden in La Rosaleda for the women’s Nations League

MADRID, 13 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish women’s soccer team will play on December 1 against the Italian team at the Pasarón Municipal Stadium (Pontevedra) and on December 5 against Sweden at the La Rosaleda Stadium (Málaga), in matches corresponding to matchday 5 and 6 from the League of Nations.

This was indicated this Friday by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) on its website, regarding two matches belonging to Group D of this new continental national team competition, where Spain is also seeking a ticket for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

“The firm commitment of the Royal Galician Football Federation to hold the match has allowed the world champion team to reach its territory with this very important match,” said the RFEF about that event in Pasarón against the Italians.

For its part, La Rosaleda will be the stage where the two teams that lead the FIFA ranking will meet. “The match is part of the collaboration agreement signed between the Junta de Andalucía and the RFEF for the celebration of matches of the different Spanish football teams in the provinces of the Community,” added the press release.

“In addition to the Board, the Malaga City Council, the Malaga Provincial Council and the Royal Andalusian Football Federation (RFAF) collaborate in the organization,” the text stated. Spain currently leads Group D after beating Sweden (2-3) away and then beating Switzerland (5-0) at the Nuevo Arcángel in Córdoba, during the window played in September.
