Sonsoles Ónega unveils the title of the program that it will present on Antena 3 to compete against ‘Sálvame’

The landing of Sonsoles Ónega on Antena 3 is taking place slowly but his debut is getting closer. If the chain announced her signing in July and last week she could be seen for the first time on a set-she was interviewed in the anthill-, now he stars in his first promo ahead of the premiere of his new program, which already has a name.

And now, Sonsoles is the title chosen for the space that the journalist will host on the main channel of Atresmedia. A current affairs magazine in the style of the format that it led on Telecinco and which, predictably, will occupy the afternoon slot, where it now broadcasts Boom, although Antena 3 has not yet revealed its strategy. In this way, Sonsoles Ónega would compete head-on against Save meat least in one of its sections, the one that runs from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., which is when it starts Pass word.

The issuance of this promo -a very short video- is the first step in a campaign whose primary objective is to notify the audience of who the new face of the channel is. Hence, the spot is simply the image of the presenter repeated several times and the title of her new program: And now, Sonsoles. “We are waiting for you very soon. The journalist was linked for years to Mediaset, where she began to present it’s already noon in June 2018. Since then, she had become one of the professionals with the greatest projection within the station directed by Paolo Vasile. However, everything changed a couple of months ago, when she decided to join the competition. “We have a plan for you”, were the five words, according to the presenter, that the heads of Atresmedia had told her in a first meeting. 48 hours after that first approach, she accepted the offer and communicated it to Mediaset. The next day, she disappeared from it’s already noon. Until today.
