The North American center, with a British and international passport, Sacha Killeya-Jones signed this Friday with Surne Bilbao Basket for the 23/24 season, after playing the G-League with Oklahoma City Blue.
The new ‘man in black’, aged 24 and 2.12, played the 21/22 season in the Israeli league with Hapoel Gilboa, where he was the competition’s top scorer with 18.4 points to which he added 7.6 rebounds. In addition, on 20/21 he played with MKS Dabrowa Gornicza from Poland, a team with which he averaged 19 points and 8.9 rebounds.
“Before making the leap to professional basketball, Killeya-Jones played for the prestigious University of Kentucky, a team from which he left to seek a professional opportunity after fighting for position with centers such as Bam Adebayo, PJ Washington and Jarred Vanderbilt, players who today they are important in the NBA”, says Bilbao Basket in its statement.
