RdT: “The market is a game, anything can happen”

“It’s a decision in which people think one thing, the club another and I can think of a different one. Many things can happen. There will be clubs that will be interested, my own club may or may not want to sell me. This is a game. Markets are like that. Perhaps the club is interested in making money with me, or I’m interested in staying or leaving. A lot of people think my opinion counts. You have to make it natural. All three things can happen“He explained deeply to settle:” There is concern on all sides. I want to enjoy myself and when this is over, the market will arrive and we’ll see what happens.”

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, the striker, who made it clear that “I don’t know what the president’s intentions are”, made it clear that his time at Espanyol has been very happy. He spoke about the Zarra Trophy with 17 points: “From the first day I have felt very happy, very well professionally and personally. I have no complaints.”

From Diego Martínez to the goodbye of Vicente Moreno

Apart from his four-game tour with the National Team, in which he hopes to make his debut as a scorer, RdT has an eye on what’s new at Espanyol. About the new coach, presented just this Tuesday, Diego Martínez, valued the following: “I have references from Granada, he is a good coach. He has achieved achievements in his career and everything that is good for us is better to achieve more serious goals”he declared.

He expanded further when asked about the dismissal of Vicente Moreno. A scenario that bothered the Espanyol striker: “There was no need for all this, I would have waited for the season to end. But they are things that one cannot control.” Just before, RdT summarized the stage of the Valencian coach: “The Second year was very good, in this I think we started well and the season was flowing, but perhaps people should interpret everything better. I understand the prestige and history of the club, but there are times that they have to stop, we have to accept it, we tried to play what we had. Maybe now there are other things. I have been very happy with Vicente, we could have scuffles, but he is my friend.”
