Rayo Vallecano will be the rival of the first match of English Manchester United in its preseason at its Old Trafford stadium, as confirmed by the two clubs on Monday.
The meeting will be held on July 31 at 5:00 p.m., Spanish peninsular time, and will serve as preparation for both of them for their respective seasons in the Premier League and LaLiga Santander and will be just one day after the Mancunian team faces each other in Oslo to Atletico Madrid.
In addition, for the fans of the ‘Red Devils’ it will be the opportunity to see for the first time in the ‘Theater of Dreams’ the new project under the command of Dutch coach Erik ten Hag.
“We are delighted to be able to offer people the opportunity to witness Ten Hag’s debut at Old Trafford. Fans who purchase their tickets to this match will also be helping a good cause as the club will donate 10 per cent of the profits to the Manchester United Foundation,” said Collette Roche, Director of Operations for the triple European champion.
