Quini wants to hit Villarreal

The Granada side Joaquin Marin ‘Quini’ believes that his team has to “transform the good feelings” of the last two games, in which they lost to Real Madrid (1-0) and Real Sociedad (2-0), into “good results”, and do so in the clash on Saturday against a Villarreal whom he described as “a great team”.

“The team does a spectacular job and empties itself in games, but we have very clear chances and we materialize them”, commented Quini this Monday in statements to the club’s media.

The rojiblanco side highlighted that Granada “does not lower its arms” in the games, although he acknowledged that against Real they looked for a draw this Sunday “more with heart than head” and added that “the line of the last two games is positive” and “there is no other way but to continue working to change this streak”.

Quini added that, after four straight losses, they face next Saturday’s match against Villarreal “eager to turn the situation around” and make up for the recent bad results.

“We have desire to turn the tortilla, to change the dynamic, and what better way than to do it at home against a great team like Villarreal”, he sentenced.

“On Saturday against our people we are going to continue working as in the last games. The good results are what will lead us to achieve the objective at the end of the season”, Quini finished.
