Puado, perfect complement

Since he returned on October 26 after a pubalgia that dragged on his meteoric previous course, with promotion at Espanyol, debut with the National Team and Olympic silver, Javi Puado has become an untouchable for Vicente Moreno. The front, who plays mainly on the right, has played seven starts and was only a substitute for the first two, as a result of his lack of rhythm, and against Valencia, when he spent the week sick.

I feel fine. I spent two months without helping the team, but last year I also had these problems since March. It is not easy, there are moments with pain, but I am very well and physically perfect“, commented a Puado who has three goals and is the second scorer for Espanyol only surpassed by the infallible Raúl de Tomás, who has accumulated ten goals, four of them from penalties.

Puado no sa comes out of the prevailing discourse in the workforce. The youth squad maintains his balance in the roller coaster of emotions that the team arouses, capable of winning in Valencia and making the fans dream of a magical debut year against Elche, but later falling untimely and getting back into the zone table desert. “We only look forward. We think about improving, growing and always looking up. We aspire to do great things“, valued the parakeet player.

After the defeat against Elche there was group therapy (“we analyzed, we did things wrong and they must not happen again”) to maintain the great illusion of the season, the Copa del Rey. The visit to Mallorca is a litmus test for a Espanyol that does not want to “go home” in such an exciting competition: “It will be difficult, they are a good team and we play away from home. But we will come out to win.”.

To push the team towards victory, Puado and his teammates, who trained this Thursday at the Ciudad Deportiva, have the support of the Espanyol fans who will travel to the islands. “The more, the better. We will notice it”, said the blue and white striker, an icon of the entity when he renewed last summer.
