Özil, back to the Premier?

Mesut Özil’s adventure in Turkey is not going as expected. The German midfielder decided to leave Arsenal last January to join the ranks of Fenerbahce, with whom he is showing an uneven performance.

Last season he was two points away from winning the league, but this season is starting with more shocks than expected, being a substitute in several games.

According to Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, the former Real Madrid and Arsenal player is on the billionaire Newcastle’s radar, which is already combing the market to boost the team after the change of ownership.

The ‘magpies’ have noticed Özil, who has plenty of experience in the Premier but who left Arsenal in a bad way, with whom he spent the last months without being registered to play the league.

The arrival of the Saudi investment fund in the northern box means that money is not a problem and without a doubt the return of the German to England would cause a great media impact.
