The new hospitality business of Inigo Onieva in one of the most exclusive areas of Madrid is about to open its doors. Located in the Las Salesas neighborhood, very fashionable in the capital, the restaurant will be the new meeting point of the Madrid jet-set, where both he and his wife, Tamara Falcó, move like fish in water. This Thursday, more details of the business were known, in which they have invested Jose Luis Lopez “The nougat” and Iván Espinosa de los Monteros.
The establishment, which will be named Casa Salesas, already has an opening date: on May 13week in which the San Isidro festival is celebrated in the capital, according to The reason. Onieva’s new restaurant and Manuel Campos, partner in other hospitality businesses of the Matutes family, will be open from Sunday to Wednesday from 10 in the morning until 1 in the morning. However, the hours for Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are extended until 2 at night. Among its gastronomic offering, customers will be able to enjoy a long list of cocktails and innovative experiences with exotic flavors.
This is a new business venture for Onieva, who already has experience in the hospitality and nightlife sector in Madrid. Tamara Falcó’s husband worked for the Mabel Hospitality group, a restaurant company that has among its partners such well-known faces as Rafa Nadal, Pau Gasol or Enrique Iglesias. He joined in November 2021, a few months before being involved in several scandals due to infidelities and bad night habits, which led him to lose his job in May 2023.
Since then, there have been several rumors linking Iñigo Onieva with other business groups, for example, with the legendary Café Gijón, a signing that those in charge themselves had to deny. His wife, Tamara Falcó, announced a few months ago: “Iñigo doesn’t like me talking about his projects publicly but he has a very nice one that is about to come out.”
