Next Wednesday, the Women’s First Division of football knows its calendar for the 2022/23 season

The draw for the calendar of the 2022-2023 season of the Women’s First Division of football, the first with professional status, will take place next Wednesday, July 27, at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas (Madrid).

The act, which can be followed via ‘streaming’ through the official channels of the RFEF, will take place from 12:00 in the Luis Aragonés Hall of the federative headquarters. In this way, the proposal of the Professional Women’s Soccer League (LPFF) for the Higher Sports Council (CSD) to hold the draw has not been accepted.

The Spanish football regulatory body recently announced the dates on which the official RFEF competitions will be played, as well as the bases that will regulate them. In this way, the First Division of Women’s Soccer will start on the weekend of September 10 and 11, 2022 and will end on May 21, 2023.


The 16 teams in the competition will know their roadmap after what the calendar draw holds, which will have an asymmetric format, next Wednesday.
