Nadal repeats and Alcaraz bursts into the ATP Awards

The ATP released its ATP Awards 2020, a year in which Novak Djokovic and Mate Pavic-Bruno Soares they ended up as number one.

Among the winners is Rafa Nadal, who for the third consecutive year, and fourth in his career, will receive the Estefan Edberg Sportsmanship Award. The Spaniard won his 13th crown at Roland Garros and equaled 20 Grand Slams with Roger Federer.

Further, Carlos Alcaraz (17 years old) wins the Revelation of the Year award. From 491st in the ranking he has moved to 141st, winning three ATP Challengers. The Murcian, trained by Juan Carlos Ferrero, achieved his first victory in an ATP draw by defeating Albert Ramos in Rio.

Fernando Vicente was appointed best coach and his pupil, the Russian Andrey Rublev, the tennis player with the greatest progression.
