Mirandés frustrates Racing de Ferrol’s return to the ‘Playoff’ zone

MADRID, 29 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Monday, in the last match of the thirty-seventh matchday of LaLiga Hypermotion, CD Mirandés beat Racing Club de Ferrol to the ‘Playoff’ zone in A Malata (0-2), a result that prevents the Galicians from return to the ‘Playoff’ zone and that allows the Castilian-Leonese team to move away from the relegation places.

It took Carlos Martín only five minutes to open the scoring at the departmental venue, a goal that allowed the Burgos team to be ahead at half-time, although Álex López almost equalized with a shot that hit the post in extra time of the first half.

As soon as the match resumed, Lautaro de León ended the match with a direct shot into the top corner that made it 0-2. With this, Alessio Lisci’s men achieve their second consecutive victory and add 44 points, three more than those who mark the dangerous positions.

For its part, Cristóbal Parralo’s team suffers its second consecutive defeat and is left with 54 points, just one behind Racing de Santander, the last of the teams in the promotion zone.
