The presentation of Míchel as Getafe's new coach was surrounded by a point of nostalgia and general optimism. After a video with moving images of the Madrid's previous stage, Ángel Torres acted as head of the ceremony: “Míchel is back and we are delighted to have him here. Míchel took the floor: “I thank Getafe and the president. It is an honor to return. I had never left and I have suffered and I have been happy with the situations that this club has experienced. He has improved a lot, but he maintains the essence and he is the president, a man of his word. The opportunity to return has been given and I am delighted and very excited. More than when I came the first time. I really like Getafe, its president and the staff that I have. We will try to make Getafe the second team of all the fans, to be recognized ”. The technician continued talking about how different it was from his previous stage: “The essence changes little. I have had many experiences, I have trained abroad and met very different clubs and bosses. I am much more of a coach now than before. I have changed a lot of things and I have improved with the people who work with me ”. Speaking of the squad, he was questioned by Aleñá: “The president is the one who knows that best. I have an intuition with what could happen. They are good and useful players. It does not belong to Getafe. I am not in the decisions, but I am in the strategies. I have spoken a lot with Ángel Martín and we know what we want for the squad. Aleñá is a player that I like”.
