Malú, laughingstock of music critics for the “derisory” prices of his merchandising: “He only needs to sell his soul”

The last tour of Little one, Thousand Battles Tour, has generated some controversy in recent months due to the cancellation of several concerts and discontent on the part of their fans. Especially for issues related to the organization. Despite everything, no one can dispute that the interpreter of black and white She continues to be one of the most valued, successful and recognized artists on the Spanish music scene.

His success is irrefutable and his career, one of the most outstanding in national pop and ballads for decades. At the moment, the singer has prepared three new shows for this summer, which are also part of her last tour: on July 22 in Jerez de la Frontera, on July 28 in Marbella and on August 4 in Sitges. She announces them with “a lot” of desire and enthusiasm on her networks.

The one from Algeciras, happy at home with the little one Lucy y Albert Rivera, is also focused on other aspects of her professional career. The fans have been struck by the price of their merchandising, because on their website we can find prices within everyone’s reach, such as a t-shirt for 1.90 euros, a sweatshirt for 6.90, a backpack for 1.90 or an aluminum bottle for 0.90. All these products we are talking about, with Malú’s logos and phrases, are on sale because they belong to her previous tour, Oxygen Tour.

What for some can be interpreted as a generous gesture towards his fans, for others it is ridiculous. This last opinion is shared by music critic and journalist Odi O’Malley, who has written on his blog: “Malú is selling his catalog of products at ridiculous prices through the Sony website.”

And he adds with humor: “Are you getting cold this winter? Well, you can stop doing it now! Because for just 6.90 euros you can wrap up with the Malú sweatshirt, wearing underneath, for just 1.90 euros, the t-shirt from Malú. The good news is that you will be warm, but there are several bad ones”.

Her ironic reflections can cause laughter, although for the artist’s followers the same is not funny at all: “On the one hand, you are wearing clothes with the Malú logo in Arial 42. On the other hand, you could suffer a tsunami of lesbians at the going out into the street, yes, it would probably keep you warm for a few seconds, but then it would end up suffocating you to death. Curious, considering that the merchandising is from Oxygen Tour and you would perish for want of it.”

The music critic is at ease: “But calm down: because if when you went out you decided to hide all the merchandising, for just another euro ninety you could do it in Malú’s drawstring backpack, which also has a handle, because a fan de Malú is never confusing enough. And for just €0.90 extra, you could strangle your wrists with some bracelets by the artist. Yes, they’re Malú’s bracelets, but it could be worse: they could be from the FIB. Think about it.”
