Lombi's scare at Espanyol-Eibar: he loses consciousness after a brutal crash

Minutes of great tension that have been lived in the Dani Jarque Sports City while the match between RCD Espanyol and Eibar of the Primera Iberdrola (0-1) was played.

When the 93rd minute of the game was running and the parakeets were turned in search of a tie, the player Anair lomba -better known as Lombi-, collided with the head with two rival Eibar players in a divided ball. The impact was so forceful that the player parakeet collapsed and lost consciousness.

The ambulance immediately came to the rescue of the 30-year-old forward, who lay passed out on the grass. After several minutes of anguish, Espanyol finally reported that the player had arrived at the hospital conscious and oriented.

The crash has caused a head injury with loss of consciousness that has had the Blue and White fans on edge.

In mid afternoon, Lombi, who is one of the most charismatic and veteran footballers of the blue and white team, was in the hospital waiting to undergo additional tests. And it was late in the afternoon when, through a message on his social networks, he confirmed that he was in good condition and eager to return to the competition again:

“Hello everyone. It was just a scare, everything is perfect. I have fought with the whole hospital so that they would not tear my shirt, so all good. Now I will fight with the doctors so that they let me return as soon as possible ”, he commented wryly.
