Juan Miranda will not continue at Betis next season

MADRID, 1 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Spanish full-back Juan Miranda will not continue at Real Betis next season 2024-2025, as he has not renewed his contract, which ended this Sunday, June 30, with the green-and-white entity, after four seasons at the club, according to a statement.

The Sevillian team announced the non-continuity of the 24-year-old full-back, who had belonged to the Verdiblanco club since 2021, after playing on loan in the 2020-2021 season. In total, in these four campaigns, he played 111 official matches with Betis, scoring eight goals, with the 2023-2024 season being the most productive, participating in 33 matches.

Miranda, who is in the squad for the Olympic team for Paris 2024, looks set to continue his career in Serie A, having been linked in recent weeks with Bologna, who will play in the Champions League next season.

His departure was made clear when at the end of June Real Betis announced the signing of Frenchman Romain Perraud, left back – Miranda’s position – from English Southampton, although he played on loan at French side OGC Nice last season.
