Johan Mojica will be able to play in Bilbao after withdrawing the red appeal

ELCHE (ALICANTE), March 28. (SportsFinding) –

The Appeal Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has upheld the appeal filed by Elche CF and has withdrawn the 2-match ban imposed on Colombian international Johan Mojica, who was sent off for a direct red card in the match on matchday 29 of LaLiga Santander against Valencia.

The franjiverde soccer player first received a sanction from the Competition Committee, which partially attended the appeal presented by Elche and imposed a sanction of 2 games instead of 4 when the evidence presented showed that the soccer player “in no case uttered any insult” to the referee of the match, Miguel Ángel Ortiz Arias from Madrid.

For its part, the Appeal Committee has considered the allegations made by the Franjiverde club to this body and has annulled the imposed sanction, with which Mojica may be available for Francisco Rodríguez for the next league match, on Sunday, April 3 (14 :00 hours) in San Mamés against Athletic Club.
