Huesca returns to the First Division a year later

Only one year has the Sociedad Deportiva Huesca been in ‘hell’. The team from Aragón tonight certified their promotion to the First Division mathematically. He did it after doing his homework, defeating Numancia with absolute clarity, and helped by the defeat of Almería in Ponferrada. In the absence of the last day of the championship, no team can snatch the second position. Cadiz, then, already has its first companion to the highest category.

The match in El Alcoraz was a monologue from Huesca against a Numancia who was also playing it. So much so that the day before last ended, so the permanence will be played in the last round of the regular League. Míchel's team was master and master of the game from the initial minute, always carrying the handle and overflowing their rival with incursions by the bands. Only the lack of aim in the final meters deprived him of leaving victory on track long before he did.

Josué Sá, in the 9th minute, was able to open the scoring, but Iván Calero took the ball over the goal line. A shot from inside the area by Rafa Mir that went wide, an Okazaki header that went over the crossbar, another shot by Rafa Mir that cleared the goal Dani Barrio and a last shot by Okazaki at point-blank range that made the visiting goalkeeper were the carousel of Huesca occasions in the first part.

After passing through the locker room, the script of the match did not change. Huesca continued to surround the rival area with occasions from David Ferreiro and Rafa Mir until the pitcher broke from going to the Soria source. A shot by Juan Carlos was repelled by the arm from Héctor, who was inside the area, and the clear penalty was transformed by Rafa Mir. It was the 54th minute.

After the umpteenth shot by Okazaki that Dani Barrio took, again Rafa Mir saw the door. He took advantage of a ball if he owned inside the area after a shot by himself to sign the 2-0 (min. 68). And the icing on the cake would be put by Okazaki with a flag goal, beating the rival goal with a heel shot (min. 73).

From there to the end, and with a broken Numancia, Huesca was letting the minutes pass, pending what was happening in El Toralín. When there was evidence of Ponferradina's victory against Almería, it was the moment when the players and coaching staff of Huesca were able to celebrate their more than deserved return to the First Division. Twenty games won, the one that more than the category, deserved the promotion.
