The players of USA and Greece were found exchanging a heated argument on the sidelines of the FIBA World cup match. Giannis and Thanasis – part of Greece national Team, were found pitted against the Team USA.
The match between Greece and the USA was to be a decider for the place in the quarterfinals to be held next week. Towards the end of the game, it was found that the tempers of the players brushed off against one another. Giannis and the Team USA members were found to be engaged in arguments.
The US team had already secured a win in the match with just around 1:40 left in the game. Thanasis Antetokounmpo hit the US player Harrison Barnes. A foul was called and the game progressed as usual. However, after the game ended, the U.S. forward Jaylen Brown and Giannis Antetokounmpo were found exchanging words.

The argument escalated in practically no time and referees and coaches had to intervene to resolve the matter. Brown later told reporters, “Yeah, I said something to Giannis. Well, Giannis said something to me… But we’ve got bigger fish to fry. So we move on.”

As the Team USA members later pointe it out, the reason for the escalation of the matter was the No Apology stand from the Greece team.
