Griezmann is still dry

Antoine Griezmann has lost the success of face to door. As if a member of the Space Jam Monstars had stolen his finishing skills, the French celebrates his sixth consecutive month without being able to pierce the rival goal.

Since January 6, the striker has not been able to be seen doing one of the things he knows best. It was a gift from Reyes prior to the recurrence of the muscle injury he had suffered a few weeks earlier in the derbyafter a very hard Carvajal kick. A month and a half later, Griezmann returned to the pitch in search of his game… but with a disoriented scoring nose.

Total, Griezmann has gone 20 games in a row without scoring. He said goodbye to the season at Atlético with 17 drought encounters and his lowest scoring figure (eight goals in all competitions) since 2011-12 at Real Sociedad. And if he has always been decisive in the final meters with France, the selection is not being able to get him out of the tunnel either. Griezmann was starter against Denmark and ended up playing 78 minutes, but he was not able to generate excessive danger in the final meters. Nor had he been successful against the Ivory Coast and South Africa (two assists) in the March friendlies. He still has three tests left to try to recover that much lost before ending the course. Vacations can be the best remedy for the striker, time to clear the mind and return to being a fully guaranteed scorer.
