MADRID, 29 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The president of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB), Jorge Garbajosa, highlighted this Saturday “the enormous respect and admiration that Spanish basketball arouses throughout the world”, having verified it in Manila during the days prior to the draw for the World Cup to be held between August 25 and September 10 in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.

“Most importantly, having had the honor and privilege of having lived during these days in Manila the enormous respect and admiration that Spanish basketball arouses throughout the world. It has been a pride to be able to represent it in such an unforgettable ceremony”, Garbajosa said after the World Cup draw.

“Very good feelings for having known three venues of a very high organizational level and that are going to guarantee an enormous experience, both of course for the teams that participate in it and for the fans who travel to Jakarta, Okinawa and Manila”, declared Garbajosa to the official media of the FEB itself.

“I have just experienced a spectacular draw ceremony. With a difficult draw, as it always is in this type of championship. With a tough first phase, but the second possibly even tougher if we manage to qualify,” he finally added.
