Fellaini, hospitalized in China for coronavirus

The Belgian midfielder, a former Everton and Manchester United footballer, is hospitalized in China, where he plays for Shandow Luneng of the Super League of this country. Fellaini has become the First footballer from the Chinese Super League to test positive of the coronavirus, as confirmed by the Daily Mail.

The 32-year-old midfielder is hospitalized in China at a Jinan infectious disease specialist center, after last Friday it gave positive in a routine control. It happened after the player took a train to the Chinese city of Jinan after his stay in Dubai.

Shandow Luneng footballer Fellaini came to the Chinese Super League after playing for 11 years in English football at Everton and Manchester United, his last team before leaving for China. The Belgian footballer signed for Shandow Luneng on February 1, 2019, after five seasons at Manchester United, where he conquered a Europa League, an FA Cup, a League Cup and a Community Shield title.

According to the British newspaper, Fellaini would have contracted the disease on a recent trip to Dubai, after spending several weeks in this city in the United Arab Emirates. Like most leagues in the world, the Chinese Super League is suspended indefinitely due to illness.
