“It’s a surprise for me and for everyone around us, of course. It’s not that I was disappointed, it’s that I don’t understand this situation. The magazine does not walk with half measures and throws balls out against the person responsible for the colossal informative hit that led the weekly to publish a lie on the cover: “Whatever their motives, the fact is that Esther acted irresponsibly. All in all, Esther maintains a kind of pathetic flight forward and says that she has not “fallen out of love”, confessing that she is “surprised by all this”, she notes. “It’s a surprise for me and for everyone around us, of course. It’s not that I was disappointed, it’s that I don’t understand this situation. I don’t understand anything,” she insists. Esther maintains that her feelings “will always be of affection towards him and towards his family” and but she repeats that they have loved each other very much, in the past tense and somehow sings the farewell: “If the relationship is not possible, I only hope that we are very happy both of us on our paths,” he says. “I am sure that we will continue to share many things, since we both love each other, although it may not be as a couple. Friendship will always continue with us,” she concludes.
Asked if she thinks she did things wrong, she says no. And when the magazine is interested in knowing what Santiago was wrong about and what she was wrong about, Esther does not admit mistakes: “I don’t think we were wrong.
